I'm fine, but there is some tornado damage across Alexandria. The tornado tracked closer than I was expecting. Some roofs were damaged, and there is a lot of tree damage. I was expecting it to be worse when the tornado emergency was issued. The tornado must have been above the ground most of the time.
Here's a pic I got after the tornado passed. I don't think this was the same tornado that cause the damage, but might have been a separate funnel cloud.

Here's what the warning looked like.
Tis the season huh? Glad it missed you. Nice capture. Did you see any debris or dust being picked up with that? If not then is just a funnel. Was it rotating? Looks like it wants to touchdown
Storms with very heavy rainfall have been training across the area. More than 7 inches so far west of Alexandria. I have 3.88 inches in digital gauge right now. Under a flash flood warning. Good thing I don't have garden planted yet.

I didn't see any debris with that one. I never saw the main tornado, but it was just about a mile away. I was taking shelter at the time.
Its gonna feel like February tomorrow! Nice!!! 60s and near 70! Lol

Adjusted temperatures slightly higher
Scattered Cu and cirrus should diminish this evening, with skies
clearing the rest of the night. High and mid level clouds will
start to move towards daybreak Monday with increasing moisture
and a weak mid level shortwave spilling over an upper ridge axis
to the west.
High pressure will build across on Monday. First swath of mid
level clouds will lift across in the morning, then
lowering/thickening clouds expected late day Monday into Monday
night, with rain developing by midnight from NYC west, and
across the entire region late. NWP guidance shows a 60-kt LLJ
overriding an approaching warm frontal boundary, which along
with elevated instability should result in a 6-12 hr period of
heavy rain and embedded thunderstorms. Areas of fog should also
develop in the coll sector ahead of the approaching front, but
think rain and short duration of onshore flow will prevent it
from becoming dense, except maybe along immediate south facing
shores.
NWP guidance also indicates the warm front should lift into the
area Tue afternoon as a strengthening mid level shortwave
approaches. Areas that get into the warm sector could rise well
into the 60s to near 70, with sfc-based instability developing.
As a result scattered late day tstms could develop and dump
additional heavy rain. With mid level westerly winds increasing
to over 40 kt, some of these storms could be strong or locally
severe.
I'm at 5.16 inches now in digital gauge. Airport recording 7.15 inches.
