Is 41 F really that unusual for this time of year?

Today was the first 90+ day of the year, it hit 91 F this afternoon.

So your theme in the morning there will be "Looks like Summer, Feels like Winter". lol

Another look at Snowshoe. I trust this report more than previously posted. Still, almost hurricane strength. Hikers beware tomorrow in the Northeast. I hope my power stays on.

It's not highly unusual. The record low for today's date is 34F and average low is 51F.

Last April it never got below 49F.

the forecast conditions on the summit Mt. Washington look horrific tomorrow; around -5°F with 80-100 mph winds forecast.

You think it'll be that bad that lots will lose their power? I noticed my house temperature drop fast in the couple hours right by the walls.

Last week we had 50mph+ and they were scattered around the power outages. If the gusts will be more frequent this time then I would assume we see more damage and outages. .

At least it will be Sunday though and not a work or school day.

Thats a crazy forecast up there. Sucks for hikers that had planned to go up weeks in advance

Btw... we only had 1 High Wind Warning in CT since Hurricane Sandy. Tomorrow makes 2
