Today, even though the high was only 82 F with a dew point in the fifties, it still felt hot in the sun, especially while playing baseball for a few hours. I got nice and burnt on my face today.

The sun has been brutal up here. I forgot how strong it gets this time of the year.
Of course Florida is even worse with sun strength.

High was around 77F here. With a DP in the 50's it wasn't bad at all.

Yeah, I feel like the three months between February 1-May 1 the sun really gains strength fast. You can literally feel an extra "bite" to the sun every week. Of course, by early May the sun is already pretty much at summer levels, so the sun increase kind of diminishes.
It would have been funny seeing a place like Seattle hitting 90 F before me this year.
I'm forecast to hit 89 F tomorrow.
Well that's just for the airport, If I remeber correctly the actual city of Seattle hit 90F, also as I was driving back home from college my thermometer in the car read 94F at one point around New Castle.

Our high was 84F! But it's already down to 63 at midnight. Big diurnal ranges lately because of how dry it is.

I agree, February, mainly the second half, is when the uv index is climbing up, we are currently at 8 with our forecast showing a uv index of 9 this weekened. Sun feels strong now even in the later afternoon hours

yeah lol, our forecast high today is 88, hope we break the 90 mark today. Finally the night did not drop below 60 till early in the morning, that is very beneficial to plants and to me, I hated waking up freezing cold.
