We've got a few very warm days coming up in Vancouver, with inland temperatures possibly reaching into the upper 20s Celsius.

The warm front kicked in pretty suddenly this morning - at 7:00am I recall the temperature at the airport weather station being 7°C, now at 10:00 it's hit 18°C. Extremely unusual to have that big of a temperature swing in such a short time here. Also very unusual to have 18°C weather at 10:00am at this time of the year. I would expect this in July, not mid-April.

Most of NW France was below freezing this morning:

Probably the last freeze of the season for Paris-Orly, though next week looks like it has good chances to get at least a couple frosts. Nothing like that here, the low was 11.7°C/53°F and high a warmish 23.5°C/74°F.

77 now; coldest forecast is 36 Wednesday morning. It's hard to predict the last freeze of the season; there's a month left where it's possible. But less and less likely. Last year had a very cold start to spring but an earlier than usual last freeze.

That sums up this Satellite Photo this morning and for past 5 days. OMEGA BLOCK

Poor Oklahoma, Kansas, and Colorado its cloudy day after cloudy day. Upper Low is STILL over there!

Cloudy and cold! I got about 8" of snow that stuck to the ground at my house in Denver, but much of the suburbs (at a little higher elevation than in Denver proper) had well over a foot, and lots tree damage. Looks like winter outside, but the forecast calls for 80 by Saturday. It was 77 degrees last Thursday. Insane, even for Denver.

You have a few more chances to hit freezing coming up plus the S word again in the Northeast somewhere. Lets figure the mountains have the better chance at the snow for now. (next Sunday and again around Friday)

2 Maps.

1. Current temps. Above forecast highs in many areas. Models and Professionals underestimating the dry soil and full sun.

2. GFS minimum temps next Monday.

People that don't see comments like that or into weather in other areas have no idea that it even snowed or how winterish it looks. Crazy. Any damage in your particular area? I saw there was some in and around Denver and Boulder.

Speaking of snow... Maybe some flakes for me coming? Euro is onto it.

NYC warmest of the year... at 81°F. Earlier than normal. Last 2 yrs happened after May 3rd to hit 81. Although ironically April 18, 2015 they hit 80.

Bridgeport warmest of the year in the 70s.

And Dewpoints ........ in the 30s. Absolutely wonderful. Why cant this N/NW flow happen all the time in the summer????

Clouds are very important to take into account into April when looking at the forecasts. Depending on how cloudy it is, actual temperatures might be as much as like 5-6c higher or lower than the forecasts predict
