Looks to be a short warmup per my forecast, we go right back to below average next week. Nothing extreme but a good 5 degrees below average with temps in the upper 70s a couple days. No end in sight for the east. Lexington KY has a warmer 10 day forecast than I do.
I wonder why NWS forecast maps have different temperatures than NWS forecasts. Some spots are warmer and some are cooler.
Wondered the same thing sometimes. No idea. I always thought maybe just not updated but seems too common. Im surprised they have mid 80s for Bridgeport.

For you it will probably come down to that TS development. Clouds/Rain would do it. For me a backdoor cold front then possibly a Canadian HP. We'll see. Short lived is good for May. Lol

Should be fun to see the maxes. Ground isnt dry from the rains today but maybe a 90 somewhere?
Foggy here this morning so here's a look at who's reporting fog.
Notice..
Trough moving out (still over Maine).
Ridging moving in.
Lots of Severe storms in the Plains.
Fog in New England, Great Lakes, and South Carolina areas.
No one is talking about the epic warmth shown next week over seattle on the gfs for June 5th? interestingly a few days later its followed by a cold blast in the east. the 591 line makes it to seattle per the gfs.
