I say blame it on Seattle and their darned warm water (warm PDO). I would love to see them have their coldest year on record lol.

Funny I was just looking at a palm forum and all the palms that died in Oregon during 2012. That was a very mild winter over here. Nothing will convince me otherwise of this fact: Seattle warm, Philly cold.

You played baseball in high school? I did too. What position?

In Venezuela, when it's drizzing or lightly raining we say it's "llovisnando".

Only two more days of this crap, the extended forecast looks a lot like May.

And they also were below average this September and November. And guess what kind of weather we had here. If you guessed "record breaking warmth" then bravo

I'm rooting for record breaking cold there too! Repeat of January 1950 please

Yes I did back in 1998 when I was six years old. That's when my interest in weather sparked up because I moved here in summer and I noticed how it would storm so often lol.

Today makes 5 days in a row Hartford stayed below 55°F. If they get 1 more day like that, it will be the most number of days the max stayed under 55F in May since 1967. And it wasn't in a row then! This has to be a record.

Pretty much been a while across the region to experience this.
