I agree! That's why I never, ever turned down an opportunity to visit the grandparents.

Easiest money I ever made.

Oh. I always said "could you possibly support me in my necessary financial needs". But good for your recurring accidents.

He gave you an F because you drink beer, eat meat and aren't arranged for marriage? Or just for being from a lower caste?

The latter. No wonder the test was so hard. He kept talking about how his son was a disgrace to his family.
"The exam will begin in a 5 minutes. Please display your identification on your left. If you have any problem with the computer, I and everyone else in my native country will assist you."

Well, the forecast models have changed their tune. Now the polar outbreak has been replaced with a hot spell

Forecast temps up to 42C here. The heat will then move onto Sydney and NSW while southern Victoria largely misses out. Standard.

Unbelievable how windy it is here. And I though Melbourne had some wind. Howling southerlies atm, can hear the wind roaring in the trees on the opposite bank and the river outside sounds like I am at the beach but the boat is hardly moving at all which is good. Lots of windy days here I noticed.

It's not too bad, we get a couple of 28°C/30°C days.

Still alright, but look at the models, it's wasted potential. Looks like southern Vic will suffer from some localised cool changes.

850hPa temps on Wed

Cool in southern Vic by Thursday evening, some idiotic polar cold in Tasmania. The heat misses Melbourne and heads straight for Sydney. This is the classic summer pattern that used to piss me off to no end when living in Melbourne

Friday

One can also see the majority of the heat bypassing Melbourne and making an express beeline to Sydney which is traditional.
