The West Central U.S snowfall showing up on the maps now & above normal.

Lack of snow is below normal now in Southern Ontario/Quebec. Normal in northern Quebec





Hudson Bay icing up nicely.

I don't know how it applies to other states, but El Niño means warmer and wetter than usual here in Washington, and yet we are having a great start to the snow season. Why is that? Or is this just a temporary cold front and all the snow will melt with in the next couple weeks?
