Nope. Dry air over California, all the moisture is aiming towards the Pacific Northwest. Looks dry with sunshine there everyday. At 10,000 feet the forecast is warmer than here later next week.

4" of snow in Goodland Kansas yesterday, 2.7" last week. Wonder how many used "warm ground excuse"

Was in the 60s 4 days in a row prior and a record 81°F 14 days ago.

Normal first 4" snowfall is December 29th there. So over a month earlier than normal this yr.

16th snowiest November so far. Out of 120 yrs of records, only 15 of them had more snow in November and there's still 2 weeks left.

The 6.7” of snow this month in Goodland Kansas is the most for November since November 1994. November 1997 had 6.1”.

Still 2 weeks left. Lets see if they can get to 13.4" which happened in 1990

BTW .. In case your eye went to that 23.3" November 1983.. That winter ended up with 101.3" of snow. 2nd snowiest. Normal is 35.5", WHA??!

Anyway .. November 28, 1983 was a hammering snowstorm there in Kansas. Here's the Upper Level map from then.

Similar scenario as yesterday with an Upper Low in the area. Guess there was more moisture then in 1983.
