Highest peak (Mt. Hamilton, 4200 feet) in the San Francisco Bay Area is getting snow. Not much snow, but not a region known for winter weather. Here's its averages

MT HAMILTON, CALIFORNIA - Climate Summary

17" of snow / year, but only 0.4" in November.

A lot of states getting the white stuff. Wonder if some folks miss that ridge out there or the are welcoming this with open arm.

Is that 9-12" for near Valentine Nebraska?

I assume Jackson gets lots of early season snowfalls.
