Well, today was day 16 at or above 70 this winter at RDU. If we fail, we may as well fail spectacularly.

Holy crap. Tom you were right about one thing.Winters back from about 1950 and back were a lot warmer. Make the 90s and 2000s look like nothing. Many janauries I saw had mean temp of 50 in raliegh. Feb 1890s minimum temp was only 29, keep in mind this is in 1890 where there is 0 UHI effect had there been one i imagine it would not have hit 32. What the crap. It was warm all the way up to the El Nino of 1958 before it flipped colder from 1960-1980 then warmer again and even now the warmth we have does not compare to the warmth of the late 19th and first half of 20th century. Only thing that looked to have trended warmer though are summers. I was looking in nowdata incase yall were wondering.

60F here now at 8:40pm with a Dewpoint of near 60. What month is it?

I'll grab the 9pm map in a bit

Here's Current Radar and wind gusts. Winds are making noise outside from the South and sometimes with good force. I got a lot of trees around!
