The warmest February day here was only 20f above average.
Our warmest this month was 21°F above average (includes day & night), coldest 27°F below average. Christmas Eve was 25°F above average this year (high of 66°F, low of 36°F)
Holy crap. Tom you were right about one thing.Winters back from about 1950 and back were a lot warmer. Make the 90s and 2000s look like nothing. Many janauries I saw had mean temp of 50 in raliegh. Feb 1890s minimum temp was only 29, keep in mind this is in 1890 where there is 0 UHI effect had there been one i imagine it would not have hit 32. What the crap. It was warm all the way up to the El Nino of 1958 before it flipped colder from 1960-1980 then warmer again and even now the warmth we have does not compare to the warmth of the late 19th and first half of 20th century. Only thing that looked to have trended warmer though are summers. I was looking in nowdata incase yall were wondering.
Temps. If I was blind I'd think it's May. 9pm 61°?!!
Family telling me there are trees down there. 20 min south of me.
