Current Upper Level Flow. Can't get any cold with a Pacific West to East flow like this.

Zonal across the U.S again.

Entire country is near or above normal right now. Well above from Texas to Ohio valley because the mid levels are extra warm. +12C in Southern Illinois.

HOURLY DEPARTURE FROM 1981-2010 AVG

Zonal is usually seasonable but most times I noticed it's above normal for us.(+5 to 10 above) All depends on how and where the mid level temps surge. Like we aren't in the most well above normal area right now but we are feeling the West flow from where it is.

Forgot to post the links before..

Current Upper Level Flow

Mid Level Temps 16C to Kansas. Looks like its surging in the center of the country, not East, but we're getting part of that flow from there.

Still below freezing at that level in northern New England.

61 right now forecast is calling for 68. Tomorrow will be low 70s. Feels pretty humid outside right now. Feb still running 5 degrees below normal. We will see how it finishes the way it looks we will manage to erase some of that departure and maybe finish 2 or 3 degrees below normal.

55°F at noon today, didn't expect that fast of a warm-up. Windy though.
