There was a tornado report with damage in Hinesville this evening. This area is about 30 miles to my south. Storms have been hammering us with rain since 6 PM this evening. It's still coming down hard.

Niagara Falls recorded 15.6°C/60F this afternoon (warmer than Austin, Texas). Temperatures have dropped quickly since then, it is currently 5°C/41°F.
Wow. That's a pretty rare sight for your area unlike Alabama.
It sure is. Energy from the gulf that hits south Alabama and southwest Georgia often loses its punch by the time it gets here. That didn't happen this time.
On a side note the rain has calmed somewhat in the last two hours. Rain is expected to continue tomorrow with temps in the 50s.
