Still overcast here - 67 at the house, although PDK is reporting 71.

Gotta enjoy this coolness while it lasts.

Up to 36°C/97°F in SW France today. Only 17°C/63°F in Cherbourg tho. And 24°C/75°F here on the Riviera.

Wow to the 97. I'm the same as Cherbourg but at 2pm. Feels great! About 10 below normal. Mostly cloudy with pokes of sun and blue now & then

Current temps. We have an easterly Flow at the surface

Northern Vermont & Montreal warmer than Virginia.

Hot Springs Virginia not so hot today. lol 56°F. (3800 feet)

We had an unforecast 20.3C today, so I can show my face in here for the first time It's the latest first 20C since 1994, but who cares now?

We have a fair few 12s and 13s forecast for the next few days with afternoon sunshine so I'm wondering if they are underestimates as well, since a day that cold at this time of year would normally be wet or very overcast.

You can see the clouds holding down temperatures here, it's warmer in Northern New England / southern Quebec where the sun's out. I'm guessing some type of rainstorm is keeping it cool in western Virginia?

Tomorrow's long awaited boiling hot plume looking more scorching than ever. My town might even reach 17 degrees!

I don't get how the forecast can change so drastically, is that common over there?
