lol Im sure you would cambium. in winter if you start saying its gonna be a torch and sunny and warm which is what you where saying in December it actually means it will be cold and snowy which is what later happened. in summer if you say heat wave what actually happens is a cold wave I guess lol. we do have a broken up heat wave in the forecast for week 2 and 3 of June so don't say anything about it cambium.
LMFAO! You're right. Hmmm. You may have found a secrete in my long range thoughts. December fooled everyone and I was waving the white flag too. I have to remember to do that again. Lmao
just found out something interesting yesterday and Wednesday both had max temps of 68 this is the first time we have had a max temp below 70 in June since 2005 this summer really seem to resemble 2005 and 2007 to me. 2007 especially for the lower plains.
Seems like if you go southeast of Paris is starts like a bit more continental. Oceanic maybe should be looks as a gradient, rather a simple yes/no.
Except Parisian heat is likely to be a dry heat, which allows faster warm-ups than NYC's humid heat. Plus, NYC is adjacent to the ocean which makes heat waves harder in late spring. We reached 90°F twice already.
If Paris were a bit colder in winter, I'd almost consider it continental.. but the endless overcast winters like ours are a big give-away of its oceanic nature.
It's also relatively easy for heat from Spain to tap up into northern France, getting it across the channel over to us seems to be more difficult. The low pressure systems that hang out to our west, pumping up heat from Africa over western Europe always seems to be slightly too far east, so we miss out on most of it.

Yeah I was trying to find a similar one too. I think 2009 did it for early June.

It seems like delayed seasons have been the trend lately. The winter of course taking off in February, and also the last couple years the middle of summer was cool with a late revival around Labor Day.
I thought we'd broken out of the unusually wet and cool pattern here in Denver, but nope. Now we're getting horrible thunderstorms and hail. Crazy hail last night... 5 separate occurrences at my house. Plus a damaging tornado near Lyons, CO, which is quite close to the mountains.

June 2009 was very wet, doesn't seem like this one is.
