On April 9, 2003 in Žabljak low was -14.6c and it was officially the lowest temperature ever recorded in April in Montenegro.

In the next few days this record can be broken, several stations have the potential for this.

Home weather station just north of Hilo at 2,000 ft elevation reports 110 inches of rain so far this year.
My place south of Hilo at 700 ft has had 85 inches. It’s been a wet 3 months on east side of Big Island.

On May 11, 2021 low in Kosanica in Montenegro was -7.4c https://www.mindat.org/feature-3197640.html

On February 16, 2021 low in Kosanica was -29.5c and on April 9, 2021 -19.1c https://abload.de/img/cgminimalci09.04.2021dmkje.jpg

Meteo station in Kosanica is open in 2020, and Kosanica has already beaten Sjenica (the coldest town in Serbia) in record low temperature for April and May https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sjenic...hy_and_climate

According to measurements which started last year Kosanica is significant colder than Sjenica. Altitude of Kosanica is 1215 m and Sjenica is on 1026 m, both places are on a plateau.
It is a pity that the meteo measurements in Kosanica did not start few decades earlier. I am pretty sure that Kosanica had bellow -40c in the past, and without doubt had frost in July and August (even Sjenica had).

Kosanica had all first 5 days of this June with frost. On June 1 -2c, on June 2 -3.1c, on June 3 -3.2c, on June 4 -1.8c and on June 5 -1c

Places like Kosanica which have predisposition for very low temperatures in Serbian are known as "mrazišta" (they are mostly on plateaus). Kosanica is super "mrazište."
An example of "mrazište" with similar altitude as Kosanica is place Veliko Polje (about 1200 m) where is measured temperature of -43.5c in January 1963 (little down) https://www.zoi84.ba/en/igman-2/
Kosanica is populated places and Veliko polje is not.

Made this bar chart to show temperature distribution in my area.

The number at the bottom shows how many '08 and newer Honda Accords I've ridden in when the high temperature was at a certain level. Multiple Accords in one day were counted by the number of Accords, not the number of individual days. (By the way, if you're curious, look in some of the General Chat Threads from about 2015 to 2017)

The coldest two data points were highs of 27 F / -3 C recorded on January 7, 2015 and February 10, 2016. Each of those days I rode in one Accord - a 2014 white sedan on 1/7/15 and a 2015 dark grey sedan on 2/10/16.

The warmest data point was a high of 98 F / 37 C on September 10, 2019, which also had a whopping 4 Accords.

Notice that 91 F / 33 C and 92 F / 33 C have 20 Accords each, but after that, a sharp drop.
