Muggy weather sucks . I wouldn't mind the same temps with lower humidity.

Higher A/C bills, can't exercise outside for extended periods, tend to drink more chilled fluids containing sugar, and eventually fatten up .

No no no you have that all wrong. You are describing WINTER weather. Not summer weather. Summer is when everybody is outside and getting in shape. Go back to India or wherever you are from already.

The pattern really hasn't changed since February. Fascinating to see! Now look what could happen!

A Large Anomalous Storm is being shown from Northern plains into Canada this weekend.

980mb Low on the latest GFS is about 30mb stronger than normal. We don't usually see storms this strong on land this time of year in the U.S/Southern Canada...

Then again.. this could all be normal before we started keeping records anyway

(No, don't worry, no snow anywhere near)

While its been hot around 90 in Miami & the range isnt that large down there, its the coolest June since 2002 so far. They are -1.5 below normal right now. 4 days left.

That "mean" number there I believe is from POR and not 30yrs.

Just out of curiosity, when was the last time a 980 mb storm appeared in the Prairies in the middle of summer? I certainly can't recall any.

Very hot today in Greece, I think the current European high for this year(41.7ºC in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain) is going to fall.
