The forecast for next Tuesday shows a low in the 70's. First time I've seen that this year.

Do a quick Google search for a map of Pennsylvania if you're not familiar enough with the geography for these stats to have any significance.

Today's State Extremes
State Highs:
Erie 83°F / 28°C
Pittsburgh 81°F / 27°C
Latrobe 80°F / 27°C
Beaver Falls 80°F / 27°C
Washington 80°F / 27°C

State Lows:
Mt. Pocono 57°F / 14°C
Washington 60°F / 16°C
Doylestown 60°F / 16°C
Quakertown 60°F / 16°C
Philadelphia Wings Airport 62°F / 17°C
lol I figure it's rare that one sees Erie, right by the eponymous Lake, the warmest station in PA in summer. Meanwhile, the nth round of T'storms is moving thru the D.C. area.

Thick stratus clouds in the sky this evening. Barely broke a sweat biking home. For the first half a mile, I felt cold, wished I had a jacket. Partly from the slight downhill, felt warm enough afterward. Clouds were kinda cozy, but made it very dark.

Was 62°F with a dew point of 58°F.

Yup, you'll like Monday to Thursday period.. Looks like 70s for lows for couple days and 80s/90s for few days. Only thing I'm thinking is that rain and storms might hold back some 90s in spots.

And instead of Wednesday being the warmest as was shown couple days ago now it's pushed back to Thursday. Here's GFS12z Max temps for Thursday. Widespread 90s into Vermont

Well, I won't necessarily say I have pale skin, but if I exposed my upper thighs at the beach, there'd be temporary whiteout conditions I can't help it, cool and drizzly is ideal for me; perfect exercising weather too!

Umm, what is the GFS spinning up?

Doubt it.... Probably just a GFS Fantasycane

Looks like it will stay wet for the next seven days everywhere but California

Hurricane off the coast. Next run its out to sea. Don't believe the horrific GFS lately with these until we get closer or see consistency. Remember the Florida tropical system? Then it disappeared after couple days.

On that note.. Jim Cantore asked other meteos why the GFS is doing this. Read all the replies.

^^

Yeah I don't believe it. I wonder why the GFS and also the Euro are both under performing recently.

Check this out. Significant severe weather possible next week for the Midwest

So a drought summer is out of the question here.... Look at the tropical level dew points forecast for Chicago next week. Going up to 75F/24C dew point by Wednesday with temps hovering close to 90F/32C
