Humid Subtropical and Mediterranean.

Some Tropical climates that aren't too wet and some Hot arid/semi-arid climates get an honorable mention. Some Humid Continental climates are worthy of a mention as well.

Continental with warm summers (highs between 23c/73F and 26c/80F, mean less than 22c/72F, winters with highs below freezing and a quick warm-up in spring) (Dfb) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sapporo#Climate

Oceanic (the same summers as above and frost-free winters with highs between 13c/55F and 18c/64F and lows around 10c/50F) (Cfb) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaitaia#Climate

High-elevation tropical rainforest and monsoon climates (with highs between 21c/70F and 26c/80F and lows between 13c/55F and 18c/64F) (Af, Am) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%A...A9rida#Climate

All of the climates I like are also quite wet, with precipitation above 1000 mm/39.4 in and with sunshine between 1700 and 2300 hours (Merida is slightly too sunny).

Semi-arid.

See: Denver.

Winters that are rainy and cloudy depress me. I like thunderstorms in the summer, combined with low humidity year round. I prefer winters not be very cold, and summer not be very hot. So average winter highs in the 40s or 50s, and summer highs in the low 80s (with low humidity) is great for me.

One of the warmer, wetter, sunnier types of Oceanic climate, or a climate belonging to Trewartha's Subtropical group.

Somewhere with reasonably sunny months all year (50 -70%). Rainfall of a metre plus, with a good amount of summer rainfall. Warmish summer nights (15-20C) and warmish days (22C-28C) No snow in winter, but frost is okay, warmish winter highs (12-18C).

It's really just somewhere like my own climate, but with summer about 2-3C warmer.
