Different strokes I guess, as I myself have been to Brunswick in July (in 2001), and while it was hot and humid, it wasn't anything I couldn't handle. I think the temp was 90-91 with a dewpoint around 72-73 while I was there
A dewpoint of 77 is more intense than that, which occurred a lot while I was there. All I meant to say is that it's even a bit hotter and more humid than coastal Florida.

The variety, and having such tropical summer weather while still being able to experience cold and snow in the winter.
Cold, snowy winters, with variable but relatively dry shoulder seasons. Summer starts out mild and dry, then turning humid and rather wet by August. Köppen types Dfb, Dsb, Dfc, or Dsc. Sunshine is abundant throughout the year with about 60% of the possible total (or about 2600 hours)
I like subtropical climates. Wet (Cfa) and sunny ones are preferable, but Mediterranean, Steppe, and Desert are also acceptable.
My ideal climate is Charleston, SC, although I wish it had greater winter stability. But even still, its cold shots are quite weak by my standards and wouldn't bother me, I already experience worse every winter.

Nicest weather on the East Coast! Virginia is too cold and when you enter the other Carolina summers start to get hotter and humider
