Miami Florida basically hit 80° or warmer about 75% of the time since November 1st.

2nd warmest for period of Nov1 to March 23. Mean of 73.6°. Can they make it to 1st?

Record is 73.8° in 2007-2008 for period of Nov 1 to March 31

And we are shivering at 15 F here in central NJ. I live in a frost hollow, so it always cools down rapidly at night. What is the coldest temperature you recorded so far this month. For us, its a low of 4 F.

Even as late as last night the forecast was for 1 - 3 inches of snow but now that's been upped to 3 - 5 inches. So far about 1.25" at my home and the roads remain clear.

Pleasant spring weather is due in just a few days so I guess I can stand this last hurrah of Old Man Winter.

Here's the latest GFS data for Roanoke, VA. Looks like the 850s don't go below freezing again after Wednesday. Not sure how the surface temps compare to normal But judging by this there's no more true arctic air over the area next 2 weeks. And obviously anything past this weekend can change a lot.

Look at the 850s tonight and tomorrow morning. That's some cold air aloft which will prevent the surface from getting warm!

As for cold continuing, obviously it can't be as cold in April however it could still be well below average.
We seen snow in May a few years ago. It is rather easy to get snow here in April to be honest and certainly much easier than were you live with our northernly position and close proximity to Greenland.

I average about 0.6 to 0.8 days of snow in May.
