What happens when you get strong northwest flow aloft and a southwest flow at surface.

Some hints at some strong storm cells tomorrow in CT. Should overcome any marine influence to the coast. We'll see.

Normal muggy suppressed air tomorrow.

Low was 68 degrees at ORD and 71 degrees at MDW. Going up to 82/83 degrees in Chicago before a lake front comes through late this afternoon.

Sucks . Around 65 would be comfortable at midnight for summer. I had difficulties falling asleep yesterday night.

It actually feels nice outside! Great mornings lately to do some garden weeding

But wont last long as that yellow thing goes higher.

Will Feel like July today with the mugginess and heat, October tomorrow with the dry cooler air. 40s Wednesday night.

Well as it turns out Lexington fell only to 69F overnight (5 degrees higher than forecast) and now back to 80 at 10:30am 65% humidity. What they say about the unofficial start of summer proved to be true this year.

It knocked on the back door and then it went in..

13 degree drop in 2 hours "after" sunrise in Boston.

Now 56° at 11am. Hello Backdoor Cold Front. Watch that gradient today. Should be interesting. My door is open and waiting.

It isn't too often that you see Long Island leading the pack in terms of warmth. Luckily that's where I am lol.
