Haze gone. Dew point dropped from 62° to 48°F. I had lunch at a picnic bench at 1 pm in direct sun. Terrible idea. Sun is really strong these days midday even if I keep thinking it's not that far into spring.
I'm in Boulder County and while we are predicted to get 10 inches of snow here in he front range (foothills obviously more), we will not have that much accumulation. It's been too warm.
That said what we will/are getting will reek havoc on trees, plants and we are supposed to get a hard freeze tomorrow night. As of right now it keeps going back and forth between rain and snow.

.
The heaviest axis is north of you and that's why you might not get much accumulation, not because of temps before today. It could of been 80F 2 days ago it wouldn't matter. Precip amount, precip rate, and current temps is what matters. Seen it time and time again.

Keep us posted.
What I meant was, the 10 inches predicted will not result in 10 inches on my back deck. It's snowing right now but melting as soon as it hits the ground and street. And my temp station says it's 31 degrees out.
I have no doubt we are in for a long night though, getting up several times to knock snow off the trees. Won't be the first time and won't be the last.... That's just Colorado for you.
