You're right ILNC~most of the country has better winters then I do. I do remember it snowing there over Christmas, 2004. Not sure if Houston or Dallas got snow, but they showed Corpus Christi on national news. We were in Fla. at the time so that's how I remember the year so well. Actually, I could handle a morning temp like yours even when you have a cold front. I'm still actually doing ok here, but our worst is yet to come.

I was thinking about you this morning. I spoke with daughter in NC and she said there was a cold front moving in. Nothing horrible, but cold for over there.

It's 37 right now/windchill is 28. It's going to be windy again and is already 15 to 24 mph winds. Not as bad as the gusts of 60 yesterday though.

Man, I'm watching the Northwestern @ Michigan college football game.....and I'm jealous.....it's snowing hard!!!!

That's funny. You've definitely got to live in an area where you get lake effect snow or live in northern Mn.

Yes it snowed at my house in 2004, my first white Christmas, and it was in Houston Texas! Right now I have the windows open, it's really nice.
And Jammie, two days after the snow in 2004, we were back in the 70's
