Washburn, Maine we have 9*F and a steady 17 MPH breeze, gusts up to 27 MPH. Light snow right now, we got an additional 5 or 6 inches last night is all. Makes the total for Dec and Jan so far right around 60". Don't recall how much we had in November but it was above average for the year. We must be pushing 90" by now for total snowfall.

Angry The temperture

We have the peek-a-boo snow flurries, it's about all we get in the Tidewater area. I hate it, that's why I want to move to a place that starts snowing in September at least.

36 degrees
wind 26 MPH
Wind Chill 43

I was so disappointed to see that OK and Tx. went into the deepfreeze the way they did. Somehow in my imaginery mind, both states were warmer then that.

Our cold front is moving on so right now it's 20 with a windchill of 6. AND that's above zero.

Sorry Jammie...yea, it isn't always that warm down here though some people think it is just because summers are hot...it was 17 at my house this morning...it's now 5.50pm and 33.8 degrees here on the outdoor thermometer...heading down to the upper teens again.

Supposed to be up near 72 though by Sunday so there's your warmer weather coming back to this area. That's the thing though...when it does go into the deep freeze here, after 3-4 days it's usually up in the 50s or 60s before too long!

Deep in the Heart of Central Texas:

34 degrees
44% humidity
14 dew point

Totally delightful all the way. The dew point is like a desert number. I only wish it were so low in the summer.

Yes it's a yo-yo this time of year, of course I wish it would just stay cold
