This morning's -6 at O'Hare missed the 1978 record by just 2 degrees and is an eye-catching 28-deg below normal!

A big contrast of that rough Chicago weather is what we are getting on the southeast coast of the USA mainland: Much of Florida is in the middle 70's, sunny, and dry.

Sunny, dry, 77F lol. This was the beach cam in the last hour:

This month has been a bit boring weather-wise except for a short warm up and a few flurries. 5-10cm expected this weekend though.

Those NOAA maps are pretty inaccurate, we haven't had a snowpack here since December 3rd (not even small patches). I noticed the same thing last year.
