Low this morning was -3F/-19C at both O'Hare and Midway. My suburb went down to -6F/-21C. West suburban Aurora dipped to -16F/-27C








Latest Euro control run, still has core of cold over Midwest during Christmas week! :dance:

More snow in the forecast!

This one looks to be the biggest one yet.

NWS NY just put this forecast map out. Pretty rare sight from them 2 days out with these totals.

Chicago area low temps and wind chills from last night. Pretty impressive this early in the season if you ask me





Aurora, Sugar Grove AP is usually the coldest spot during the winter (along with Rochelle), being in the Fox River Valley. So a bit of a frost hollow.... On the flip side, that location recorded a record high temperature of 111F/44C on July 14th 1936.
