Speaking of Lake Effect....
Yes it is wild to see green grass.... ours goes brown in later October after hard freezes.....and gets green up in late april-mid May. The other times it is under snow.

Great photos all. Quite the warm up here. The horse corral is all ice now. The winds picked up around noon and it's 'spitting' snow, barely snowing.

Watertown could see as much as four feet of lake effect snow.

Still quite warm here. 39 F feels nice after a low of -4.3 F on Friday. We are supposed to drop down to 4 F tonight .

I get that often in the Spring when fronts come through. Low barometric pressure really messes with my sinuses.

I have noticed that if it snows while grass is still green, then in the spring when snow melts it will show the green grass for a few days before going brown.
