Some of the GFS ensembles show some very scary potential outcomes for the 28th.

I went out in a short sleeve shirt today, and didn't feel like I was gonna die.

Not going to be easy travelling there (never mind the chance of losing power).

Well here we still have about 6 to 8 inches of snow on the ground and good travelling weather for family.

And lovely weather is in our Christmas week forecast......

Interesting.

Danbury, CT went from 59℉ to 42℉ back to 53℉ within 8hrs. 17 degree drop in few hrs then 11 degree rise in the last 2 hrs. 9 degrees in last 60 minutes

We've been hovering around 35F/2C all day long, with cold drizzle and at times moderate rain. Absolutely disgusting.

Damn, Cat 4 low pressure over UK/Ireland. Rock and Roll!

Same here, we went up from 49.5 F to 57.2 F, and once again dropped down to 54 F. Might be due to increasing cloud cover trapping heat.

Needless to say, I am wearing a sleeveless cotton T shirt at home right now. That's lounge wear I usually use in summer .

Had a tornado warning here with heavy rain, lightning, and strong winds. The power was out for 2 hours.
