Yesterday we had an 80 degree dew point registered in the Chicago area. Highest of the year.

Another look:

Here's a dew point comparison from 4 months ago.. Which do you prefer? The ones from July 19th or today?

Love low dew points. I am calling old man winter and telling him to stay over in NJ.

He said taxes are too high, so he won't venture down here .

Well... here we are..May is around the corner. lol

I had a question someone ask me which might of been answered in the forum but figured maybe someone new is around now.

Which location is more muggy, Philly or coastal CT (Bridgeport)?

My answer was Philly is south of here but we're closer to the water so our dew points are higher mostly?

Anyone have a graphic comparison or some numbers? Curious now.

Current Dew points. 30°F/-1.1C here.

There has been unpalatable dry air for the longest time. Soon the left side of the map will be reality!

At 27C a perfect dewpoint should be around 12C.
