Interesting that the news has oppressive and then tropical as the highest level. That's Kentucky for you. Any chance for 70+ this week?
There should be a higher level than tropical. Tropical means a dew point in the 70s. A dew point above 80 might only happen in record breaking events but still it's possible.

Chicago vs Bridgeport month of May dewpoint update. Chicago bit more muggier this month. Love to see this. Not sure how it compares to past few yrs or normal but it shows how the flow has been recently.

11 days with 60°+ DP vs 7 for BDR

It has been a PLEASURE living through spring here. Not something I'm use to. lol

Low DP here this morning of 47°F. Been pulling weeds from Garden every morning lately and enjoying it. No sweat, Not many bugs.

Update for BDR at the coast here.

27 of last 32 days have had a lower dewpoint max than 2012. 20 lower vs last yr.

Current Dewpoints.(3:30pmEST). It's muggier in Montreal and Duluth Than Atlanta or Myrtle Beach.

I was going to compare Montreal to here being we are dry but then I saw the dryness goes down to South Carolina and even Atlanta.

North star has one last chance to smile before being suppressed into smothering hot gulf coast air .

Now that's dry heat!

LV is now 32c with 5% humidity. I don't know how dry that feels. With that temperature, the RH in my place is usually 60-70%. A bit humid. Tangerang is now 33c with 59% humidity. That's a 24c dew point.
