Interesting stuff! No idea why ORD & MDW differ so much.

Hmm, nice catch.. It's IMM. An automatic station. I bet you it was a spike. Should be adjusted on the next OBS.

IEM showing 81 on their OBS. http://mesonet.agron.iastate.edu/ASOS/current.phtml?sorder=asc&metar=no&network=FL_ASOS& sortcol=id

Noaa showing 74 like you said. http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick...1#.VAnieGXD_IW

Actually we're both wrong. lol Immokalee is at 81.

That NOAA link I posted is not IMM. The 81 is correct for IMM. Weather or not it's the station reading too high is another story but that's what's being returned. :-)

Here's Mesonet showing 81 also.

We had a Dewpoint of around 18°C/ 65°F at 26°C/79°F, felt humid but not too uncomfortable even for exercising (cycling).

Illinois is basically one big flat field of cot and soybeans, mixed in with a bunch of swamps. Even though Kentucky is further south, there are some highlands that I'm guessing tend to drop atmospheric moisture levels
