Just how muggy are you thinking? Can we still manage 70s dewpoints in the coming week(s)?

Welcome to the new warmer pattern guys. Troughs aren't digging deeper in the East anymore and cool downs not as long lasting as the warmth. Ridge more pronounced in the South/SouthEast/East... I seriously hope it changes by November!
Sounds like an especially helpful pattern to come in time for the winter. Hopefully the cold air will come to your house and then stop there lol.
The only thing that would screw up the "warmth" would be clouds and rain...but my dewpoint projection for you remains either way. I wonder what the record is for you for consecutive 70s as max. (Must be a reason why I'm asking )

It's a shame that dewpoint information is not recorded in Nowdata etc.
Just counted, Chicago/MDW had a peak dew point of 21C/70F or higher on 33 days this summer which is actually about the average
