The humidity is really starting to get me now. Having trouble keeping my shirt on.

If I had a 6 pack, no second thoughts on removing my shirt. Sadly, I am cursed with an ugly body .

No one in Florida seems to take these things into consideration.

Again too personal.

But when it is hot here I just wear a tshirt and shorts and am outside all the time. In Florida I think we will all be down at the pool 24/7, love swimming.

Can't understand these parts of America which have buildings designed for cold summer climates with swimming pools being far and few between. Average high of 30c is sufficient for a swimming pool.

I don't know what gives you the idea that swimming pools are few and far between in parts of the US with hot summers. Buildings here are designed for cold winters which is why they are bad in the summer because the insulation traps too much heat.

Well I get your point about the winters but it just seems like they have the same kind of buildings as here which are not designed for heat.

A lack of pools is bad

Turned on the A/C to weed out humidity. 84 F here right now, and set the A/C temperature at 74 F.

When I lived in Chennai, it would be 110 F outside but only 85 F inside the house since traditional homes were built with mud roofs thereby keeping out the heat to an extent. This way, our A/C there did less work to cool down.

And G8RCAT: I am very conscious of my looks. Just see my posts in the Beauty forum.

Also, pools are rare here because backyards are not always fenced off.

Current Dewpoints..

Dew point of 62°F/16.6C in Chicopee Falls, MA, 29°F/-1.6C in Glens Falls, NY. Albany at 32F.

Approximately 90 miles and a 33° change in dew points...impressive.
