With a dewpoint that high of 17c?

I suspected it would of been lower humidity if elevation was higher.

20C/68F is considered humid as the chart below indicates, but nothing outrageous...

Dew Points are headed for the mid to upper 70's (that's 24-26C) for the next three days.... Temps are 86F/30C. Muggy

The 17 degree dewpoint is less common but warm spells are often very humid in this country surrounded by water. So it's not all that surprising at all. Dewpoints lower down in Cheshire (10 miles away) have been around 18-20 so 17 here is right - even Northern Ireland has had 20 degree dewpoints today in fact.

My weather station is a Davis Vantage Pro 2 so dewpoint readings are very accurate and also compare well with the official Leek Thorncliffe station 10 miles away at 298m.

It's hot enough. I'm wet right now with sweat and I am not even moving.

Ours is the same! Finally! We haven't had a dew point that low since the Friday before last.

It got to 29c.

Highest dew point was about 21c.

So heat index of 32c.

Where? Castlederg shows a max heat index of 27.9°C (82.3°F), dew point 18°C (64°F) at the time.
