Some thunderstorms wandering by this afternoon, ironically it's also the coolest day of the season so far. One can see the snow/rain boundary under the clouds.
Yes! I seen that here too the other day it was really interesting. I reconned it was around 3000feet. I'd love to take a plane up this week and see if it's snowing up at that height.
It feels like it's been cool/cold for a long time now. And well, it kind of has. This whole week there was only one 60+ day and that was 64 F on Wednesday. Warm front on the way though, 69 F Sunday with a low of 56! And 71 F on Monday.

Similiar situation where I live, that same big warm front is coming thru,
aparently temperatures will "rise" overnight with a "low" of 17c (62F!) and high Sunday of 20c (68F),
and lots of rain, it's starting to rain now and will continue over next 24 hrs

Cool/Cold? No (at least not to me)... Below normal? Yes, 7 straight days of below normal temps. Nobody would know unless they look it up.
Take a look at the departures for NJ and CT. Figure the entire NorthEast looks like this too. Below normal. Feeling so good. 10-20 degrees below normal some days.
