That's impressive how of a big of a temperature swing Texas can get in the winter. I see high 30s in the forecast for Houston after having 60/70 degree weather. And nights in the mid 20s. Its latitude is 29.8N

Lows here in North Texas will be in the low teens. The temperature variation can be quite a bit here. It was in the 70s over the weekend and I loved it. I won't be enjoying the next several days, however.
My classmates in northeast Indiana are talking about it all over our FB page! They are saying that the Wal Marts are packed with people stocking up.
Sure am glad that wife and I live in Florida, even if it is northeast Florida.
I'm just going to sit tight and enjoy the snow. I might walk down to the falls and watch the snow come down through all the lights that are illuminating the falls.
Here in Indianapolis, I have heard 1 - 2 inches of ice. I went to the store and bought some charcoal so I can grill out tomorrow. I am not kidding. I have some chicken in the freezer, baked beans in the fridge, and plenty of beer and soda if I am stuck at home for a few days.

You live walking distance from the falls? Sounds kinda cool, unless that means hordes of tourists pass by your home.
