Sref now has a 32" mean snowfall for BTV/? Umm wow.

NCEP SREF Plume Viewer

I have different experiences with those sref snow totals. Once I didn't believe they were showing double the forecast and it happened, other times it was way too much. But to even see it as a possibility is amazing.

Ugh. My memory fails me. I know you've explained the plume viewer before, but I am clueless on what this is showing us....is there a link to an explanation so you don't have to write it out again?

In short its just basically a cluster of members that make up a model probability.

Maybe this link might help. Gets technical.

Thanks Cambium!
I have to say, considering it's supposed to be 'light' right now, and getting really heavy later, I'm itching to see what that's going to be like. It is pretty steady right now and seems fairly windy already too.

Me too. Judging by the amount of moisture available it might be interesting for sure.

Burlington has 3.3" so far this month. Another 23.7 inches would make it 10th snowiest March on record.

Some Graphics and tweets from NWS Burlington... Be safe everyone. Whiteout conditions likely now through tomorrow morning.
