Very cool from BTV!

"Cold north winds pushing south over the relatively warm waters of Lake Champlain created enough instability yesterday for the formation of some light lake effect snow showers as well as a few waterspouts!"

I don't even have to tell you how the temps are, all I have to say is that It snowed to the coast of the gulf states this morning with ice to southern Texas and temps struggling past 20s and 30s down there.... and that should give you an idea how cold and deep the air is over us

NWS BTV Graphic

"Lows from this morning. Once again the coldest temperatures in the country were across New England and Northern New York this morning."

Some snow on the way today. Some can be in squall form so expect reduced visibility. Clippers passing through. General 1-4" expected.

"Decent" snow (all relative I guess!) coming down today actually. Maybe 3" so far. Will be a great refresher for the ski hills.

Lousy pic but very nice conditions this morning. The extra 4"+ made a big difference.

Damn, you guys are winter warriors up there! Those low temperatures Cambium posted are frightening!

I'm still trying to figure out how my son is related to me. I like winter but not up close and personal.
