A big freeze of minus 20 is expected in the Midwest and will last for weeks. Any idea on what the lows will be in Vermont during this?

It looks like we will miss out on the cold weather from looking at our forecasts. The extended through next week is showing us just above to just below the freezing mark. It's like spring here in Burlington. Temp outside is about 50.

During this, nothing. But after it pushes east I expect Vermont to se teens and single digits. Starting Wednesday next week. Pretty impressive stuff into the US now. Wind Chill values right now during the day are widespread sub zero from Kansas northward

Not that I can think of right now but will post if I come across any more.

Looking likely Wed towards the weekend next week.

I have to admit something... It's such a pleasure posting here and enteracting with you guys. There's been issues with the CT Weather thread and 1 member has made it unenjoyable to read. So thanks for keeping things civil, on topic, and having actual discussions.

Warm today but Winter has entered in full force and will get to us tomorrow night and Sunday.

Here's Snow total forecast for Vermont just to Saturday 7am

Nice! Wonder if it'll be a net gain from what we lost last night

Stowe called that 1" , i'm not sure if it rained and snowed there, or just snowed but it rained very hard here by Sugarbush.

We got some rain here, I think, but I definitely slept through it lol. It's a mess outside though.

Yesterday (Fri.) was 44 degrees in afternoon.
Rain last night turned to snow, there was maybe an inch of it left today (since it's just above freezing out).
But it's the first snow to stick around *this* long-though it's not a uniform coating, it's still more than I've yet seen here this season.
