Oh, so they didn't feed the fashion snobs yet? Good! I didn't miss anything then. Since my DVR didn't record almost half of Tuesday's show, I'm in the dark and I haven't had the time yet to go on YouTube or whatever and watch the episode for the parts I missed. Maybe tomorrow or this weekend.

I had them bookmarked so I could remember what episode was next.
I agree this season is not as entertaining as the past seasons. FOX has become obsessed with finding the contestants with the most drama potential; to the point that it's difficult to find people to root for. And I think that's the real problem.
If you think about the first six seasons of HK, there was always a lot of people who you could root for and empathize with. There were some rotten apples, but it's difficult to not think of at least 3-5 people in any given season that you could root for.
If you look at Season 3, there was Roc, Julia, Bonnie, Jen, and Brad.
In Season 4, there was Christina, Petrozza, and Bobby.
In Season 5, Danny, Paula, Andrea, Ben, and Robert.
In Season 6, Dave, Kevin, Ariel, and Van.
In Season 7, I didn't find any of them that endearing. In Season 8, it's really only Nona. Season 9 at least had Will and Tommy (and Paul was OK, but a bit immature IMO), but 9 seems to be the exception to the pattern.
Who is there to root for this season? I'm not sure that I like any of them yet. Maybe that will change as time goes on, but for now, all I see is a bunch of drama and annoying people (Tiffany, Royce, Robyn, Kimmie, Guy).
Also, is it just me, or is Ramsay getting a bit excessive and arbitrary with kicking people out of the kitchen?
The show is definitely riding it's last wisps of glory. I would so much rather see a season in which all the chefs actually could cook a scallop and weren't just in it for their 15 minutes of fame.

Definitely. There is only so many times you can see Chef Ramsey do the same act over and over again. It has become more of 'background' noise while I read.
I wonder how much food they waste per season, food not served simply because the timing was off and it got cold waiting for other items ordered on the same table? Or just a little over cooked?
Ok, so I didn't miss as much as I thought I missed. My DVR cut off at Kimmie punching the bag and crying.
Oh, Clemenza!!! Clemmie, Clemmie, Clemmie!!!!!!! What the hell were you thinking??? That's like me putting in a Thanksgiving turkey today - June 22nd - so it'll be ready on Thanksgiving in November!!!
Aside from all the smoking going on, I'm just wondering if Kimmie has any "other" words up her sleeve. I notice she seems to use the "B" word ... a LOT! She needs to expand her vocabulary and contract um ... everything else.
Next week looks like it will be "fun". "You don't just go over and take what you want from the blue team .... silly cow!!!" Maybe we're beginning to get "OUR" Gordo back - the old Gordo we all knew and loved and who called everyone "donkey", "silly cow", "stewpid cow", and "fat cow". Keeping my hooves crossed, anyway. (Donkeys DO have hooves, don't they??? ) ("Stewpid silly city cow doesn't know a hoof from a paw!")
* Oh yeah, and that Tiffany is something else ... "Oh well, at least nobody remembers I'm the one who fried the eggplant." DOH!

Reason: Forgot something!
Does anyone know how many of the past winners are still working the GR restaurants? If they are, they probably took a huge pay cut and are washing dishes.
There is a lot on the internet about HK winners-where are they now? Some of the winners did not even get the prizes/jobs promised to them. It seems really fishy but maybe that's why the quality of the contestants is dropping-because the show is fraudulent.

That waste has been bothering me for years now. You don't throw a steak, p'chop, chicken away because it is UNDERcooked! You put it back in the pan or oven! I know if I were a homeless person, HK's dumpster would be my hangout spot. At least during taping of the show. Talk about wasteful when people are starving to death all over this country.
