Like I said, I don't watch the show, but I believe where there's smoke there's fire. From what I've read (not that I believe everything I read) it sounds like he's having an affair. But I still can't understand why the young "other woman"'s brother would 'out' her in public. He's a publicity hound in his own right. If he truly cared about his sister, wouldn't he confront her about this in PRIVATE? Why would he throw his sister under the bus for the media? If it were me, I know my brother wouldn't do that to me. It would be a private matter.
Great post! I certainly don't believe everything I see or hear about celebs / TV personalities (which is what I consider J&K to be), but there is always a bit of truth to every rumor IMO. You are right to say where there is smoke, there's fire! These rags would be out of business and shut down years ago if there was not some hint of the truth in there!
I am not an avid watcher of this show, but the glimpes I have caught of it have always shown a very odd relationship between the J & K.
By now they must have numerous contractual obligations that cannot be easily dissolved.
Broadcasting your family life would seemingly take its toll but beyond that the issues between Jon and Kate are longstanding.
In the recent episode when the solar panels were installed I thought things were pretty strained between Jon and Kate. The solar panel expert made several 'jokes'/comments about her control issues and commiserated with Jon on camera. He tried not to respond but seemed rather depressed himself.
I thought she was especially bitchy in this episode. Lots of eye rolling. I've noticed when they are in the big chair doing their interviews, if she is not talking, she looks totally bored and annoyed.
Yes to the poster on her hair. What the heck. I downloaded some info because I liked her hair awhile back and got mine cut like it. But for while now it just looks odd. Her bangs are like long and really don't go with her hair. Sorry it drives me nuts as a Mother myself I could not fuction with hair in my eyes and her bangs are so heavy that it looks silly when she put it behind her ears. I guess since she is doing this big press bliz Jon's at home with the kids. I mean I like the picture of him and this girl sunbathing in their yard when Kate was out of town. I heard this 23 year old was a teacher perhaps she would be a good nanny since the other one didn't last too long. I 'm sorry I don't believe all you read either but there just is too many people that were family, friends or whatever that are not there now that say the same thing about Kate. I feel sorry for the kids but mostly the boys because Kate seems to favor the girls and the boys really followed Jon. Kids know when something is wrong and besides this they loose people in their lifes. Where is Aunt Jodi or Kates friend or that Grandma that came and folded clothes or the babysitter that went on those trips.
There was a big blow up between Kate and Jodi. Jodi's sister had a blog that tells about it from her side. Who knows what really happened, though. The laundry folding neighbor moved out of state. They visited her in the episode where they took gifts to a children's hospital. I have been wondering why Beth isn't on the show anymore. Jenny the nanny, I don't know, but maybe their new house is too far away for her to keep working for them.????

she was a volunteer baby feeder. I think that's how they met and became friends. Maybe Beth and Kate are still friends but it isn't necessarily shown on TV. If not, then it would appear that Kate used Beth when she needed the help. and now no longer has time for her. I hope that is not the case.

I've noticed this, too.
Who knows how/why they were initially attracted to each other but they do seem to be a different place in the relationship now. Perhaps Kate needs someone 'more like herself'/stronger and more powerful. I think Jon would be happier with a more mellow person.
In one episode Kate and the sextuplets visited another interactive children's museum and there was an exhibit that had water. She told the kids that they could play in the water but if they got their clothes wet they would ride home in them. I don't think that is particularly harsh or cruel but then one child splashed another. The child with wet clothes --a spot on a shirt sleeve got upset.
I really think if I were Kate I would take note of things like this ASAP.

I feel bad for the kids because regardless of what is true or not, you know the older ones have heard about it already.
I stopped watching the show after I watched the trip to Disney when Kate freaked out over a little spilled ice cream. It's Disney! The happiest place on earth! And kids are supposed to have the time of their life without worrying about a little sticky ice cream. It just wasn't the drama she made it out to be.

Indeed...and if the interviewer asks Jon a question, she always interjects something about herself.
When he took the kids to the Phillies game, she had to keep telling us what she was doing.
Before any of this scandal happened I was sad because the show started out so sweetly and then it became Kate complaining about how loudly Jon breathes and every grammatical error he makes. She makes plenty herself, by the way.
I miss when it was about Aaden and the gang. I love Aaden.
I actually thought Beth was a friend from Kate;s younger years. I also remember when Jon left the job he had to work at home he worked for Beth;s husband. Who knows Kate has pushed people out of these kids lives when they did something she didn't like. It seems this show and the crew is more their family. I heard something last night that I thi9nk is most true. This isn't about this book it is about damage control and trying to save this show and that is why Kate is out their talking. Where is Jon and if they really wanted to talk they would be a united team. He released a statement and who knows who wrote it. How many times have we heard Men who said they didn't cheat when they did. President Clinton, John Edwards and the list goes on. First lie then damage control.
