Another show turning weird. A character – or two or three – embedded with particles from a world-wide virtual computer that gives them amazing powers. A bad guy going nuts and being tortured for his son. They writer's got me going for this one but another “to watch” show.
Good episode, and if that's gonna be Mexico after the apocalypse, I wouldn't mind living there.
I thought the scene at the border crossing was most interesting last week. It makes sense, however, that a nation with less urban and integrated technology would fare much better than one which is so deeply intwined. I believe there was a mention, somewhere in Jericho, that people were trying to get into Mexico.
Our basic dependence on technology to get food and water where it needs to be so we can live in cities does not bode well for us come the bomb/nanites/apocolypse. Which is why the background of what became of the US on the show is so fascinating.
I really liked the first season, didn't realize it started in September so pretty much am so behind will have to wait for it to come on Netflix or repeats, its really no different than other science fictions shows. I thought the 1st season was like the walking dead without zombies. Pretty interesting.
So according to next weeks previews, we go from everyone being held captive to everyone pretty much being in a circus together? This oughta be good.
Looks like the rise of the nano's. Not that the humans are handling things all that well. I really like this show, in part because the world fallen apart looks pretty realistic.
Again, I look forward to every episode. The show's really good. I'm amazed NBC has it.
