Yellowbelle, I like the way you think. Two things I try to stay away from discussing/debating is religion and politics. I believe that there is nothing that I can say that will change anyone's own ideas on the subject. Although I feel that religion and politics are the same thing. As my thoughts and feelings on the subject do not fit into any "classification" I.E. liberal, conservative, or what ever. I have ideas that cross all lines. In some ways i am very liberal and others very conservative and others everywhere in between.

That being said, we didn't find this subject to be of any relevance during our visits and to out decision to relocate to Tucson. Yes, we can see a difference between the inner city VS the outer city/suburbs but to me the differences are more related to how one decides to live more than what they believe. We very much like the laid back atmosphere in general as well as the mountain view. And if some reason we HAD to live in the inner part of the city we would definitely choose Tucson over here (Chicago) any time. We would not choose to live in the inner city just because we like when the homes are spread out with larger lots. But much of the inner city in Tucson is quite nice--some even exceptional like Sam Hughes.

As far as politicians are concerned, I think they are all worthless nutcases--doesn't matter what party.
