I have served on a jury and justice was served on that case.

I just had a nasty thought. I wonder if any of these jurors are thinking they can demand higher prices for their post trial interviews if they acquit?

I know it's totally cynical but in this day of reality tv and a lot of dumb, crazy people in this world...

I think that this shows that murdering a child is not really a crime in Florida, unless there is a video tape of the act occurring.

Casey was judged by a jury of her "peers", 12 of the stupidest people in Florida.

My comment had to do with the media reporting on a trial and nothing about justice of the trial.

That would require a very tight conspiracy amongst 12 people.

No. I think the verdict proves that the system does work well. The jurors clearly listened to the evidence, and came to a verdict based on that evidence (or lack thereof) rather than all the gossip in the media.

I just feel so nauseus.

A poor, defenseless 2-year old is dead and she'll never get justice.

I can accept that Caysey got her day in court. But what about Caylee? Who speaks for her now?

Caysey will write a book. Baez will write a book. The jurors will write their books. They'll all make a pile of money and Casey is dead with no one to speak for her.

I think anyone who looked at this objectively saw the writing on the wall long ago.
