We have a 2003 Toyota Camry LE 4 cyl. It has a knob for temp. control with a push button in the center of the knob to turn the a/c on and off. When we push the A/C button the indicator light shines green but it flashes. The A/c is blowing only hot air. The fan is blowing fine but not cooled air. We had the system checked and they said the freon levels, compressor and system looked good. Can anyone help as to what we can do to fix this. The car has 200,000 miles but runs great. The problem is my husband drives alot with a tie on for his job and the temps have been 90+. Thank you for your help.

I just did a bit of Googling and people are saying the problem could be caused by The Magnetic Clutch Relay.

When you turn the a/c on in the car, have someone stand outside with the hood open. Listen for a "click". That is the sound of the clutch engaging. If not click it might be the clutch. It could also be a pressure switch or some other electronic item.

Check for freon. It may need to be refilled.

Yeah, the flashing light means the system needs serviced. May just need a recharge... cheap on that car.

if it's blowing hot air, may as well send it to washington (as if there's not enough hot air blown there already lol). first question is, who did the checking on the a/c system? if they didn't find anything i'm guessing either you told them not to dig further, or you need a different shop.

the clutch relay above is a good thought. also, some cars are sensitive to being even just a little low on freon, where the compressor won't kick on in that case.
