i have a 2004 camry an toyota just serviced my unit however they told use the freon level was okay but car is still blowing hot air the clutch kicks in but with it being humid the fans should kit on high speed but they are not an at night the clutch engages an i use a temp gun an the pressure get as low as 42 or 40 degrees an it cools for 30 minutes an then it stop an during the day it doesnt cool at all. toyota recommended the blend door be looked at. is there something else that needs to be checked other then the blend door.
I have a 2003 Camry and have been reading post about the clutch relay, as I think it may be my problem. However I am unable to figure which relay it is even with the diagram. When I turn on the a/c the light on the dial just blinks and no cool air
I would like to say THANKS for all the info i received from this site.I was having the blinking light and hot air from my Camry. The mechanic told us the temp control panel needed to be replaced, and that the a/c compressor needed to also be replaced. Well after googling i found this forum, replaced a/c mag relay a/c runs like new. And all it cost me was$24.12 @Napa,so thanks to everyone for the info.
Now you know a shop that should never see your Camry again! That clutch relay is a common problem and extraordinarily easy to test. Grade F in diagnostics for that shop!
I have a 2012 rav4. I replaced the ac compressor the dealer said I needed but it still blows warm air. I filled it with Freon. Any suggestion's?
