Again, I'm just saying that with this area its the general southern accent that's spoken. Words are generally pronounced with the same vowel sounds, but they don't necessarily leave lips the same or with similar cadence.

Blacks in Texas speak African American Vernacular English, aka "ebonics". Both in cities and the country. The exception would be the relatively small percentage who grew up in the suburbs with parents who don't have a strong accent themselves.
