I doubt Dallas' African culture can be compared to Houston's.

Who's comparing it?

I would need some proof of that.
This was all as of 2000.
Asians
http://mumford.albany.edu/census/Asi...t/asnSort.html
Chicago 429,553
Houston 245,418

Hispanics
http://mumford.albany.edu/census/His...TotHspSort.htm

Chicago 1,416,584
Houston 1,248,586

Breakdown of Hispanics
Mexicans
Chicago 1,117,025
Houston 994,856

So Chicago has more Mexicans than any city in Texas.
Puerto Ricans
Chicago 159,859
Houston 15,629

Just to save the trouble. Chicago has more Cubans, Dominicans, and South American population (but the South American population is not by much). Houston has a higher Central American population. Give credit to El Salvador for that one.

Chicago also has a larger black population.

5.2 million people live in the Atlanta metro area. 1.4 million are Black (as of 2006) and over 3.8 million are White. Atlanta has a very small Asian and Hispanic population. I'm not the only one that says that Atlanta is a black and white city. Even Atlantans on SSC and SSP have stated this.

That's an interesting mix. I've met several Nigerians in my life; every single one of them were intelligent, well-spoken, well-mannered people. In fact, most Africans that I have met are that way as well. Are the schools in Africa to be given credit for this or is it upbringing?

To stay on topic.... Dallas has more sweet gum trees than Houston!

Yeah, it is the schools and up-bringing. My dad's entire family is filled with doctors, engineers, nurses, the whole nine.

Wow, maybe we need to ask some Nigerians to immigrate to Texas and teach in our schools, seriously. You come from good genes Guerilla.

Okay, I know folks. I am off-topic and that's a no-no for a moderator, especially.

Dallas has more sweet-gums than Houston, although that's nothing to really brag about..
