I think he meant Dallas has the most restaurants per capita. But it isn't Texas' best restaurant city. Houston is. I posted a thread about it not too long ago. Just search under my name.

Who's nit picking? I was just stating my opinion on your comment. So, as clever as you wanted that to sound, it really wasn't at all.

That's right - we shop, eat, AND go out to nice bars and clubs!

Actually Dallas would be Rome (class, Arts, culture, consumption - think of Fair Park Esplanade as the Forum and Cotton Bowl as the Coliseum) Fort Worth would be Florence (small Arts city) and Houston would be Milan (Industrial with some Arts).

No, I don't think so. And Milan is a major arts (fashion) city.

Oh then that would belong in Dallas at the Market Center..I was trying to be generous on that one. So maybe I should have said Houston is Naples. Lots of crazy traffic and under threat of annihilation at any moment.

Actually I have been to Milan many times. Really too many times. I have spent way too many hours at Malpensa and Milano Centrale.

I don't think any Texas cities fit in with Rome's cities. Rome's cities have been there forever.
